Timothy Kennard, 48 years old, and father of a 7-year-old son, passed away on March 11, 2004. He fought a courageous battle against kidney cancer. Tim is missed by his family and fellow running friends. This run/walk honors Tim’s legacy by carrying out his heartfelt wish to support children and animals in our community through the proceeds of the race. Over the past 22 years, the Tim Kennard River Run has donated over $300,000 in Tim’s name to carry out his wish. Please stay tuned for the 2027 beneficiaries announcement.
