running-races.com is operated by Paul Stavish, an individual operating running-races.com. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

Race information is not guaranteed

This is the most important thing on this page. Race listings here come from a mix of registration platform APIs and hand-checked local sources. Any of it can be out of date or wrong. Dates move, courses change, races sell out, entry fees go up, and events get cancelled — often without the source we pulled from being updated.

Always confirm the date, time, start location, course, and price directly with the race organizer before registering, booking travel, or turning up. We provide this information “as is,” with no warranty that it is accurate, complete, or current, and we are not liable for any loss — including entry fees, travel, or accommodation — arising from relying on it.

If you spot something wrong, the “report an error” link on any race page goes to a real person. We appreciate it.

Affiliate links and how we make money

running-races.com earns a commission on some outbound registration links — currently RunSignup, and any platform we add an affiliate agreement with later. The commission is paid by the registration platform out of its own fee. It costs you nothing extra, and it plays no part in which races we list, how we rank or sort them, or what we say about them. Most races we list, including those on Haku, Race Roster, and organizers' in-house systems, earn us nothing at all.

We are not the race organizer, the registration platform, or a party to your registration. When you click through, your transaction is entirely between you and them, under their terms and their refund policy. Any problem with a registration — a refund, a transfer, a cancellation — has to be taken up with them, not us.

Advertising

This site displays third-party advertising. We don't control, endorse, or vet what appears in those ad slots, and an ad appearing next to a race isn't a relationship between that advertiser and that race. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are handled and how to turn them off.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy the race catalog.
• Submit false or misleading error reports or removal requests, or use those channels to spam or harass.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
• Use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights.

We may block access if you do any of these.

Our content

The site's design, text, and original compilation of race data belong to the operator. Individual race details — names, dates, locations — are facts about other people's events, and race names and logos belong to their organizers. Nothing here implies those organizers endorse or are affiliated with this site.

Availability

The site is provided free and “as available.” We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue any part of it at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including, for consumers in the EU and UK, your statutory rights.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the law of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your own country.
