Ad Astra Running BILLY MILLS 10K

Now in its eleventh year, this 6.2-mile run/walk follows beautiful “Billy Mills Trail,” the championship cross country course at Haskell Indian Nations University, alma mater of Olympic Legend Billy Mills, still the only American ever to win gold at 10,000 meters. The course is carefully maintained and safe for runners of all ability levels. (A popular virtual option is also offered for Billy Mills fans across the country and around the globe.)

All paid participants receive a LONG-SLEEVE RACE SHIRT, CUSTOM FINISHER'S MEDAL, and $10-OFF SHOE COUPON to Ad Astra Running. Overall, age-graded masters, and age group winners receive a combined $750 in gift certificates to Ad Astra Running:

AWARDS: Overall: 1st Place -- $100 GC to Ad Astra Running

2nd Place -- $50 GC to Ad Astra Running

3rd Place -- $30 GC to Ad Astra Running

Age-Graded Masters: 1st Place -- $50 GC to Ad Astra Running

2nd Place -- $25 GC to Ad Astra Running

Age Groups (Elem, JrHS, HS, 19-25, 26-32, 33-39, 40-46, 47-53, 54-60, 61-67, 68-74, 75+): 1st Place -- $15 GC to Ad Astra Running

VIRTUAL OPTION: Receive a long-sleeve race shirt and official finisher’s medal for your commitment to walk or run 6.2 miles during the months of October or November. Submitting results is not required. Shipping is included to addresses outside Lawrence, KS; items will ship in mid-October, after the running of the in-person race.

Virtual participants residing in Lawrence, KS, once notified, can pick up their shirt & medal in person at Ad Astra Running, 835 Massachusetts, during regular store hours (M-F 10-7, Sat 10-5, Sun 11-5).

(Out-of-towners ONLY: Sunday, October 18th, 7:00-7:20am at race course finish line)
