Americana YMCA Splash and Dash

The Splash and Dash is an exciting and rapidly growing sport that combines swimming and running. The Americana YMCA will be hosting its first Splash and Dash event for kids aged 3-18. Participants can compete individually or as part of a team of two, consisting of one swimmer and one runner.

Please note that results will be based on start and finish times, without individual splits, which will help us determine the awards for each division. We will award medals to the first and second place winners in each division. Your child division will be based on his/her age the day of the race.

Details about laps and mileage for each event are listed on the registration button for each group. Each participant will receive a medal, and T-shirts will be available for everyone who registers before August 13, 2025.

This race will not be rescheduled. The decision to cancel the event rests with the race directors. Cancellation will occur if there is thunder or lightning in the area. We will do everything we can to allow the event to proceed, but the safety of our racers is our top priority. Cancellations will be made on the morning of the event from the race site. If necessary, we may delay the start to accommodate any storms in the area.
