Be Bold. Get Cold Run/Walk

The Be Bold. Get Cold 5K/3K Run/Walk, part of the wacky winter festivities of the Versailles Polar Plunge and After Splash Bash, is a race through the scenic hills and woods of Versailles State Park that will take you to a spectacular view of Versailles Lake, the official Plunge site. All proceeds from this wacky event benefit Special Olympics Indiana athletes in our community, giving them the means to train locally and to compete at the state level in a number of Olympic-type sports. Registration, bib and shirt pick-up is from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. the day of the event at the Versailles State Park lake boat ramp. The Polar Plunge and After Splash Bash is a free, family friendly festival with music, food, displays and vendors. Plan to spend the day with us!

The Beary and Friends Fun Run for kids starts at 10:30 a.m. The Beary & Friends Fun Run is just for our youngest runners! Children ages 11 and under of all abilities are invited to join Beary, the Versailles Polar Plunge mascot, along with his friends Fire Pup from the Fire Truck Pull and Peter from Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, for a fun and noncompetitive approximately 100-meter run.
