Run There. BE THERE! The Fair. The Be There! 5K provides participants a fun course throughout the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds. Celebrate opening weekend of the 2027 Youth Fair by running through the midway during the annual run.

Course The BE THERE 5K begins at the main entrance of The Youth Fair. Participants will run through Tamiami Park then enter the fairgrounds to run alongside the rides, concessions stands, exhibits and cross the finish line on Main Street inside the fairgrounds. The course map will be emailed to participants.

Race Starting Time: 7:30 AM We recommend that you plan to arrive at least one hour before the start time.

5:30 am - Park opens for parking

6:00 am - Packet Pickup opens

7:15 am - Stretch provided by Legacy Fit Doral

7:28 am - National Anthem

7:30 am - Be There! 5K Starts

Youth Fair Scholarship Program Proceeds from the Youth Fair’s Be There! 5K will benefit the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition’s scholarship program. The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community by promoting education and South Florida agriculture while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement. We accomplish this by producing a first-class fair with quality entertainment and providing facilities for year-round events.
