Two Days. More Ways to Race.
A longtime Alabama triathlon tradition is getting a new look for 2027. The Buster Britton Multisport Festival brings two days of racing to Oak Mountain State Park, with something for longtime triathletes, first-timers, teams and open-water swimmers.
Saturday kicks off the weekend with an Open Water Swim and a fast-paced Swim-Run Mixed Relay inspired by one of triathlon’s most exciting Olympic formats.
Then on Sunday, it’s time for the Buster Britton Triathlon—continuing a race tradition that has been part of Alabama’s endurance community for more than four decades.
New name. New weekend. More racing. Same Buster Britton tradition.
