Check In for 9 It's not weak to talk. Join us Sunday, September 13, 2026, as we kick off National Suicide Prevention Week with a 9.88-mile run, bike, or walk from Spencer to Fostoria and back. This event exists to do two things: raise money to directly support a local family who has experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide, and start a conversation — especially among men — that too often doesn't happen until it's too late. 9.88 miles. One number worth remembering: 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Every step, pedal, and mile is a reminder to check in on the people around you, and to let someone check in on you too. Run it.
