Chicago Vocational Alumni Association, Inc. 5K Torch Trail

We’re thrilled to invite you to join us for the CVS Alumni Association, Inc. 2026 5K Torch Trail on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00pm! Whether you like to Run, Walk or Cycle, just come out and have a good time! Check in starts at 9:00 AM.

Save with Early Bird Registration! Register by August 14 at 11:59 p.m. CST and secure your spot for only $35.00 per person. After the Early Bird deadline, registration will be $45.00 per person.

Your registration fee includes a stylish 5K T-shirt, a shiny medal to celebrate your achievement, a bib, and a fun goodie bag. Snacks and refreshments will be available to keep everyone energized.

The scenic 5K figure-eight loop will take you around the Chicago Vocational H.S. campus at 2100 E. 87th St., Chicago, IL, and Jesse Owens Park at 8800 S. Clyde Ave., Chicago, IL, in the beautiful nearby park area. We recommend bringing a folding chair so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.

Be sure to include your mailing address to receive your official 5K T-shirt, medal, race bib, and goodie bag by mail.

Not into walking, running, or cycling? No worries! You’re more than welcome to cheer on your friends or join us for lively Zumba session right on the campus. To participate in the Zumba session simply register as a race participant by clicking the “Sign Up” button. Plus, we’ll have a friendly professional masseuse on hand to help everyone unwind and enjoy the day.
