East Atlanta Runs - The Strut 5K

We're kicking off your favorite neighborhood festival - The East Atlanta Strut - with a 5K!

The Strut 5k will take participants through 3.1 miles of the hilly streets of East Atlanta, starting and ending in our lively business district. Neighborhood residents will be out in full force as they ready for the day's events, providing cheers of support as you make your way through the neighborhood. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome!

The Strut 5k is more than just a race; it is a celebration of unity and community spirit. As participants lace up their running shoes, they embark on a journey towards supporting multiple organizations doing crucial work to the betterment of East Atlanta. Proceeds from the race go towards orgs like East Atlanta Kids Club - an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children in our community. We've also been able to provide funds to Georgia Works and Intown Cares through the East Atlanta Business Association, which is committed to keeping East Atlanta safe and supported while maintaining its beloved cultural vibe.

After the race, our Athlete's Village will provide racers with entertainment, snacks, drinks, and more. As is now tradition - every participant will get a FREE MIMOSA post race. Come for the run, stay for the fun!

All participants who registered prior to Friday, September 18 will receive the official Strut 5k 2026 t-shirt!

ADDITIONAL PARTICIPANT INFO

Bib Pick-up: We request that you pick up your Bib on Friday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Village Fitness. We will also have bib pickup starting at 8:00 AM on Saturday at the race, but HIGHLY encourage you to pickup on Friday if you are able. T-shirts will be available to everyone who registered on or before September 17 with some additional inventory available on a first come basis. Big thanks to Village Fitness for hosting this event!

Arrival and Parking: Morning road closures may increase your commute time - please plan to come early! The race will start and end at Village Fitness. Parking is available along many neighborhood side streets. There are a couple parking lots that may be available at First Iconium Church, Eastside Church, and Temple Of Faith. Please be respectful of local residents and adhere to any posted parking regulations. Race Day Schedule:

8:00 am: Registration opens at Village Fitness 8:20 am: Pre Race Warm Up with DJ Scott Morris 8:30 am: Race begins! After party goes until 10:30 am... then onto East Atlanta Strut!

After the race, we’ll have a free mimosa for every participant 21+ (while supplies last!), and awards to present to our top finishers. Refreshments and entertainment will be available - Stay for the party!
