Get Ready to Run (or Wag) for a Cause: Join Us at the Fast and Furriest 5K!

Calling all animal lovers, runners, walkers, and tail-waggers! The Green County Humane Society (GCHS) is thrilled to announce the upcoming Fast and Furriest 5K: a fun run/walk where every step you take helps support the amazing animals at GCHS.

This year we’re taking it up a notch and encouraging our participants to grab their costumes or Halloween gear and get into the spirit with us! Our animals will also be wearing their best costumes, so grab your friends and dogs and start thinking of what you could dress up as!

When: Saturday, October 10th at 9:00 AM (Registration begins at 8:30 AM) Where: Sugar River Trail, New Glarus, WI

Shirt Info: Sign up by September 25th to be guaranteed a shirt!

This is more than just a race, it’s a paw-some way to enjoy a beautiful spring day with friends (both two- and four-legged), get some exercise, and give back to a great cause. All proceeds from the event will go directly towards providing food, medical care, and shelter for the animals at GCHS.

Bring Your Furry Friend! Got a friendly, leash-trained pup? Bring them along! Dogs are more than welcome to join the fun — just make sure they’re comfortable around other animals and people. Add your dog as a participant for $10 and they receive a GCHS Bandana!
