Join us for the Freedom Hills Therapeutic Riding Reindeer Run 5K and support Freedom Hills Therapeutic Riding Program, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities through the healing partnership between horse and human.

Since 1982, Freedom Hills has provided Equine-Facilitated Therapy that strengthens the mind, body, and spirit for individuals facing physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. As a volunteer-driven organization, our work is made possible through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community support.

Freedom Hills is proud to be recognized as a PATH Premier Accredited Center, a Maryland Horse Discovery Center, and a Maryland Certified Program for Farm-Based Education.

The Reindeer Run 5K takes place during the annual Christmas with the Ponies celebration at Freedom Hills. After crossing the finish line, stick around and enjoy a full day of holiday fun with family and friends.

Admission is FREE. Activities will be available for purchase, and special activity bundle packages will be offered. Visit the event page for complete details.

Post-race refreshments, including a complimentary meal ticket for registered participants (typically includes a hot dog, chips, drink, and a snack or baked good, subject to vendor donations)
