Join us on Saturday, November 21, 2026 in Tampa at Al Lopez Park for the most joyous 5K around! The Girls on the Run 5K is open to the public and is for EVERYONE! We encourage walking, running, skipping, hopping - even dancing - to move forward.
It's a 5K like no other - capes, giggles, smiles, tutus, crowns, girl power sparkle, color hairdos, cheers and encouragement abound! Everyone is free to be themselves (AKA AMAZING) and complete the 5K at their own happy pace and with their own unique style.
The Girls on the Run 5K event is the culminating celebration for every girl who has completed their 8-week Girls on the Run or Heart & Sole program. In the weeks leading up to the 5K, Girls on the Run inspires girls to take charge of their lives and define the future on their terms. It's a place where girls learn they can. No constraints. Only opportunities to be remarkable.
This event is open to the public. Strollers ARE permitted on the course. Children ages 4 and younger will not need to register. Pets are NOT ALLOWED at the Girls on the Run 5K. With the health and safety of all our participants in mind, we kindly ask that you please leave all furry friends at home!
