The Glenn Bass Run has been celebrated for over a decade, and is in honor of Sonora's long-time cross country and track coach, Glenn Bass. This 5k and 1 mile race are on Sonora High School's Wildcat Ranch in East Sonora, running along the same course that's used by the high school cross country leagues. The course is set along rolling hills surrounded by oaks and open grassland. Participants will navigate a figure-eight course and complete the second loop twice before the downhill finish. 1 mile runners will do the final loop of the 5k. Custom awards will be given to the top 3 in each age group in each race. The registration fee is $25 + online fee for 5k and $15 + online fee for the 1 mile. T-Shirt included with sign-ups before 10/02/2026! All proceeds will go to the Sonora High cross country team. Come out and support Sonora High School and have some fun running on the course!
