Grissom Choir Glow Run

Join us for a high-energy, glowing evening of fitness and fun at the 2nd Grissom Choir Glow Run 5K on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Whether you are looking to set a personal record on a flat course (through the greenways of Hays Farm Park) or just want to walk and glow with your family, friends, and pets, this night is for you. Every registration directly supports the talented students of the Grissom High Choirs, helping fund their performances, music, travel, and programs.

Race Day Schedule

5:45 PM – On-site Packet Pick-up & Registration opens (Grissom High School)

6:45 PM - Packet Pick-up Closes

7:00 PM – 5K Race Start!

Post-Race – Food Trucks, Music, and Awards Ceremony

Course & Logistics

The Route: A scenic, fast, and pretty flat out-and-back course. The race starts at Grissom High School and winds through the beautiful Hays Farm Park Greenway before returning for the finish line celebration.

Timing: The race is professionally chip-timed. Your official time begins the moment you cross the starting mat.

Strollers & Dogs: Allowed and encouraged! We love a full family atmosphere. All we ask is that dogs remain on a leash and start toward the back of the pack for safety.

Registration & Swag

Registration Fee: $35 per participant

Your Swag Bag Includes:

An official Finisher Medal

An assortment of Glow Sticks & Glow Gear to wear during the run!

Late Registration Note: Register early! While we order plenty of swat, late registrants will receive finisher medals on a first-come, first-served basis as supplies allow.

The Vibe: The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line. Stick around for our glowing after-party!

Food Trucks: We will have local food trucks parked on-site serving up delicious post-race fuel for purchase.

Awards: Special prizes will be awarded to our overall top finisher. Award categories and prizes will be announced soon!

Weather & Policies

Rain or Shine: This event will take place rain or shine! In the event of extreme, hazardous weather, safety is our top priority, and announcements will be emailed to all participants.

Refund Policy: All registration fees are non-refundable and directly support the Grissom High School Choirs.
