Hero Hustle 5K

Housekeeping Items for RACE DAY

Small course change from Dave’s due to a little snag with the start/finish line location.

*See new map attached!

*Note the direction around the Dana campus is opposite from years past AND the 5K route is turning left onto Riverfort Dr before Crown on Jerome this year!

*Registration is still open throughout the race, however giveaway inventory is getting low. We CANNOT switch shirt sizes tomorrow at the event. If you and another registrant want to swap sizes, that is ok with us!

*7:30 AM- Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup begin. Look for the big white tent in the southern most lot.

*8:30 AM- Kids' Fun Run

*9:00 AM- 2026 Hero Hustle 5K run/walk

*Wear race bibs on the FRONT of your shirts for best results. The timer starts for each runner as they cross the start line.

*Finisher medals are ONE PER 5K registrant - must be wearing a race bib OR this year's Hero Hustle gear.

*Place Finisher Medal Ceremony to follow as results are available

*Porta-potties on site

*Credit cards can be used to register on your phone or an i-pad prior to the race

*Race will not have cash to make change for purchases, so please bring exact payment if you are using cash

*No ATM's available on site.

*Bring a sign to share in the Memorial Garden

*Fuel up at The Wandering Bean and the Saucy Slamwich food trucks

*There will be a LOT of pictures so bring your friends and smile, cry, hug, or strike a pose so we can capture the memory.

*Wear your favorite hero costume, or team apparel for the Hero Hustle!

*For those that registered, but can't make it tomorrow, we will find a time in the coming weeks to offer pickup options. Just give us a little time to un-pack, sort items and catch up on our non-5K work!

NORTHBOUND Technology Drive and Jerome Road will be blocked off from Monclova Road to DANA World Headquarters from approximately 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM. Please plan accordingly for your travels to and from the race.

Conveniently the exit/entrance ramp, exit 5 from 475/23, is OPEN (20A Maumee Western / Illinois Avenue). Please enter Technology Drive from the north and use Dana Drive #1.

*We also just learned that 20A WEST of 475 at STRAYER RD’s new traffic circle will be CLOSED on 11/7 too…because why not.

Can’t wait to see you all there!!
