About the Race

The Hope in the Foothills 5K Walk/Run and Awareness Day raises awareness about fentanyl through prevention, education and hope.

Walk or run the 5K, then spend time with the local resource groups who will be on site with educational resources, giveaways and free Narcan.

 The Events

5K Walk/Run · 8:00 AM

A road 5K with police support along the route. Walkers and runners are both welcome.

️ Course

The 5K is run and walked on the road, starting and finishing in the same area at Doodle Park. Police officers will be along the route helping direct participants and traffic. The course map will be announced.

Event T-shirt: the Hope in the Foothills Purple Ribbon Run shirt is available for purchase in advance. Add one when you register, or purchase a shirt on its own to show your support. Quantities are limited.

Resource groups will be on site throughout the event, including Foothills Fentanyl Fight, Behavioral Health Services of Pickens County, FAVOR, SAFELINE, the Phoenix Center and others. Stop by to learn, find support, get involved and make a difference.
