Join Race the Region and the Old Sheriff's House Foundation for a fun and exciting 5K run/walk through the heart of Crown Point, Indiana. This fall event offers participants a chance to experience a flat, scenic route along beautiful, tree-lined Main Street, perfect for both competitive runners and casual walkers alike.

Race Details:

Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. Location: Downtown Crown Point, Indiana Course: The 5K route begins in front of the historic Old Sheriff's House and Jail, a site listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Old Sheriff's House and Jail was once considered one of Indiana's finest and most secure jails. However, on March 3, 1934, the infamous gangster John Dillinger made a daring escape from this very jail, defying its reputation as "escape-proof."

Race Shirts: Available for participants who register by October 25 (limited quantities available after this date). Finisher's Medal: All participants will receive a finisher’s medal to commemorate their race.
