Lake Eufaula Out of the Darkness 5k Walk & Run

Help save lives and bring hope by joining us for the 3rd Annual Lake Eufaula Out of the Darkness 5k Walk & Run. Hosted by AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) Out of the Darkness Walks & Runs will happen in over 400 communities in 2026. We will join together at 6:00 pm September 19th to support those affected by suicide – and those who support them – raise awareness and much-needed funds. Together we can strongly sending the message that suicide can be prevented, and that no one is alone.

This registration site is only for the timed 5k walk or run that will be un by I:40 Race Service,. If you want to do the walk only (1 mile), you an register at this AFSP site, which has no fee but donations are greatly welcomed: https://afspwalks.donordrive.com/Eufaula

Event Details:

Time: Registration/Packet Pickup will start at 5:00 pm. 5k will start at 6:00 and the 1 mile will start at 6:15 pm.

Cost: 5k Registration is $30 through July 15th, $35 from July 16th to the Day before the event (9/18). Race Day registration is $40. Awards: There will be medals for the top 3 males in females in every 10 year age groups up to 80 and Over.
