Two flat, fast miles at five in the evening in February, out and back along Corso Drive and over the Lovers Lane Bridge. Run it solo, or split it with someone as a couples relay — two people, same two-mile route, one combined time. Then stay for the slow jams, the goodie bags, and a free craft brew from Bridgeway Brewery.

Course or Race Highlight

The relay is the heart of this one. Each half of a pair runs the same two-mile route, which means the fast partner cannot carry the slow one and the slow one cannot hide — you are both accountable for the same ground. It has produced more good-natured arguments at the finish line than any other event we put on, and that is exactly what we were going for.

Afterward: romantic beats and slow jams on the Lovers Lane dance floor, swag-filled goodie bags with surprises from our local sponsors, prizes for the fastest couples and best-dressed duos, and complimentary photos to capture those post-race heart eyes. Every finisher receives a medal and a custom race bib with their name on it, and your entry supports local nonprofits through the Giving Series.

Course

Flat and fast, out and back along Corso Drive and over the Lovers Lane Bridge, entirely within Bridgeway Station. Two miles with nothing technical about it — whatever you have in your legs on the day is what you will run.

No aid station on course — it is two miles. Water is available inside Bridgeway Station, and your entry covers a free drink at the finish.

Are dogs allowed on the course?

Yes.

Are headphones or earbuds allowed?

Yes.

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?

No.

Is there race-day registration?

Yes, you can register on your mobile device until the gun goes off.

Where are the start and finish lines?

At Bridgeway Station, at the green tent and arch.

Is there gear check or somewhere to leave personal items?

No, but your car and parking are within 100 meters of all the action.

Are there restrooms near the start/finish?

Yes, there are bathrooms inside Bridgeway Station.

Will I get a medal or a shirt?

All finishers receive a medal. You can purchase a shirt during registration, or visit our Apparel Now store and have one shipped directly to you.

What happens if there's bad weather?

Upstate Race Series races run rain or shine. In the event of lightning, extreme heat, or hazardous winter conditions, we'll post an update on this page and email registered runners as early as possible. Entry fees aren't refunded for weather delays — see Managing Your Registration below.

Can spectators come watch?

Spectators are welcome. Runner parking fills up race morning — if you're only here to cheer, plan for overflow parking nearby.

When will results and photos be available?

Live results post to the RunSignUp results page as each runner finishes. Free event photos are usually up within 48–72 hours on our Facebook page — we'll tag the album so it's easy to find.
