Maranatha Christian's: It’s a great day to run! 5k

Maranatha Christian's 2026 ‘It’s a Great Day To Run (and walk) 5k’ is an event for the whole family! We've moved the race to the fall this year instead of the busy spring. We will have a kids Pond Run followed by the 5k for those who want to run/walk Maranatha Christian’s home cross country course. You can come out and cheer on the runners or sign up and join in on the run yourself! Proceeds from this year's race will be going towards the Maranatha Christian Academy's Athletic Programs.

Kids Pond Run

For kids up to 5th grade. The run is about .3 miles around the pond out on Maranatha’s home cross country course. Kids will get their own race bib for the race, and we will have official timing for the Pond Run!

It’s a Great Day To Run 5k!

Participants will get to enjoy a 5k run/walk over the Maranatha Christian’s Home cross country course. Funds from the event will support Maranatha Christian Academy's athletic program.

Packet Pickup: Race Day Packet Pickup at Zarda Farm (We recommend showing up 30 minutes before the start of your race to pick up your packet)

*All participants will who want a Race T-shirt should sign up on or before Aug 18th.

Coffee and Chris Cakes!

We'll be having coffee and Chris Cakes again after the race. Come on out and invite a friend to join!
