megsmiles 5K

Join us for our 12th annual megsmiles 5K! We have an in person 5k option, a virtual option and a Kids Run! Both the 5k and Kids Run will be hosted at Atlee High School at 9414 Atlee Station Rd Mechanicsville, VA 23116 on Saturday, January 10th, 2026. The Kids Run will be at 8:30am and the 5k begins at 9:00am.

The megsmiles 5K is $40 ($45 on RACE DAY) and the kids run is $20 ($25 on RACE DAY).

PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE VIRTUAL 5K IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING IN PERSON.

The shirt cutoff is December 11th. Anyone registering AFTER December 11th is not guaranteed a shirt. Let's face facts though... we have plenty!

In late 2026/early 2027, commemorative shirts and medals will be mailed to virtual registrants. For in person runners, we will have packet pickup on Friday, January 8th from NOON - 2:00pm and 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Lucky Road Mechanicsville, 9325 Chamberlayne Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116, as well as race day pick up on the morning of the 10th from 7:30 - 8:30am at Atlee High School.

We hope you can join us again in 2027 to help us celebrate the memory of Meg Cross Menzies. All proceeds go to the megsmiles Charity.
