In loving memory of my mom, Shannon Kelly, we invite you to join us for the Miles for Mom 5K—a race created to celebrate her life, her heart, and the incredible gift she was to so many.

Mom was the best gift giver—not just to the people she loved, but even to children she had never met. Shopping and sponsoring children’s’ Christmas gifts was a tradition that Mom took part in for as long as I can remember. When she passed away, we asked friends and family to forego flowers and instead keep this tradition going for her.

This 5K is more than a race. It is a celebration of Mom’s love and a way to carry her generous spirit forward. Proceeds from the race will help provide Christmas gifts to children in need in the Grand Strand.
