POUND the PAVEMENT for PILOT 5K & FUN RUN

The Pilot Club of Denham Springs invites you to be a part of Pound the Pavement for Pilot 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run. Our mission is to transform communities by developing youth, providing service, education and uplifting families. Pilots focus on providing projects and services which help those with special needs and brain related disorders.

Our event kicks off at 8am, rain or shine, with the 1 Mile Fun Run followed by the 5K. When you register for the 5K, you are registered for the 1 Mile Fun Run but only the kiddos can win the 1 mile!

Proceeds from our events are used to fund projects such as:

“Challengers” ballfield for children with special needs

Mighty Moms

Assess the Need

Fans for the elderly through Livingston Parish Council on Aging

Denham Springs High Project Graduation

Louisiana Association for Challenged Adults, Inc

Honoring veterans @ nursing homes on Veteran’s Day

Sponsoring DSHS Anchor Club

Brain-Minders puppet show for youths

Yearly Pilot Club scholarship for a DSHS graduate

PAES Labs for special needs students at three area schools

As you can see, the Pilots are always looking for ways to help others and our community. Your support goes to help continue these most worthy projects.

Shirt Guarantee

The deadline to register is Sunday, November 8 2025 by midnight to receive an event shirt. Any registration after this time, an event shirt is not guaranteed.

Awards

Awards will be given 3 deep in all age groups:

Overall Male and Female

Masters (40 - 49) Male & Female

Grand Masters (50 & over) Male & Female

Fun Run Awards will be given to:

Top 3 runners ages 12 & under

5K age groups:

10 & Under

11-12

13-14

15-19

20-29

30-39

40-49

50-59

60 & up
