Reindeer Run 5k Fun Run

Date: Sunday, December 6, 2026 Location: Civic Center/City Hall | 34009 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, CA Check-In: 8:00 AM | Race Begins: 9:00 AM

The reindeer are ready to run! Grab your friends, family, and favorite holiday gear and join us this December for the Reindeer Run 5K Fun Run & Walk. This festive community event is a great way to get active, celebrate the holiday season, and race your way to the finish line!

Award medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each registration category, broken down by age group and gender: Youth Ages 12 & Under, Ages 13–17, 18–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+.

We’ll also have holiday-themed prize raffles for participants after the race!

Race Shirts Race shirts are not included in the registration fee and will be available as an optional add-on during registration. A limited number of shirts may be available for purchase on race day while supplies last.

Registration Pre-registration will close prior to race weekend. Walk-up registration will be available beginning at 8:00 AM on Sunday, December 6. Please arrive early to allow enough time to check in before the 9:00 AM start.

Rain or Shine The Reindeer Run will take place rain or shine, so dress for the weather—and holiday attire is encouraged! Ugly sweaters, reindeer antlers, Santa hats, and other festive gear are welcome. Prizes will be given out on best dressed in holiday attire!
