Location: Riverfront: Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway, Shreveport, Louisiana

Race Events: The 5K Run, 5K Walk & the 5 Mile Road Race are on a mostly flat course. There will be no vehicular traffic. These races are sanctioned by the Red River Road Runners and the RRCA. We suggest bringing a running light if you desire as it is a night race.

Packet Pick-up: Packet pick up at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue in Shreveport on Thursday, November 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday, November 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Late packet pick up will be from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Riverview Hall 600 Clyde Fant Parkway, Shreveport. Late Registration will NOT be accepted day of the race.

Fees: 5 Mile Road Race and 5K Run & 5K Walk $40.00 present day to November 7th

Packet: Includes a Comfort Colors Unisex Long Sleeve, race number, and a food/beverage coupon. Shirts will be guaranteed to those registered by October 21st and must be picked up as packets will not be mailed.

5 Mile Road Race Open Overall Male/Female ($250), Masters Male/Female: (40 and over) - 1st & 2nd, Grand Masters Male/Female: (50 and over) - 1st & 2nd, Age Group Male/Female:14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up. 1st and 2nd in each age group will receive awards. No duplicate awards.

5K Run & 5K Walk Open Overall Male/Female: 1st ($100) & 2nd awards, Master: Male/Female 1st & 2nd Male/Female:14 and under will be awarded 1st-2nd Male/Female: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70 and older will be awarded 1st & 2nd place. Open Male/Female Walkers: 1st & 2nd

Note: No Chip, No Ride, No Time, No Award!

Parking & Hotel Accommodations: The Parkway will be closed for the race. Parking is only at the North end of the Parkway in the lots located Sci-Port. Contact the Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourists Bureau for hotel and motels: 318-222-9391.

Post Race Party: A finish line party will be held inside Riverview Hall. Enjoy food, beverages, music and awards! (Remember: Expect the Unexpected!)
