Hi, my name is Nathan Chamot, I’m 18 years old, and I’m the organizer of the second annual Run for Tourette 5K, a charity run and walk that raises money for the Tourette Association of America! I founded the Run for Tourette 5K because I have Tourette Syndrome, and I don’t want others to face the same barriers I did growing up with the disorder. In 2025, the 5K set a new national fundraising record for events raising money for Tourette Syndrome—the event raised over $33,000, and I hope to surpass that this year! With your help, we can fund the Tourette Association of America’s critical efforts to support the Tourette community through research, spreading awareness, and educating professionals about Tourette’s.
