Shades of Death 10 Miler
The Shades of Death 10 Miler is a challenging 10 mile loop backroad run/hike located in Avella, PA. It will start and finish at the Polar Star Club. The run/walk will take you on multiple back roads with scenic views of farms and forests including Shades of Death Road. Over 1200' of Ascent and 1200' of Descent. There will be a 4-hour cutoff to finish. 3 official Aid stations will be located near mile 3, 6, and 8. You are invited to stick around after the race for a meal (included for racers), drinks, and live music!! All donations and profits will benefit area Volunteer Fire Departments and other local charities
Race is located at Polar Star Club in Avella, PA Must be registered before 9/30/2026 to guarantee t-shirt and runner swag.
