INFORMATION Join us for the second annual Shoe Science Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning! Before the turkey, the pie, and the football games, come out and move your feet with friends, family, and fellow community members. Register before November 12th to be guaranteed a long sleeve shirt!

This event is all about fun, fitness, and community—it is not a race. There will be no timing or official results and no competitive pressure—just a casual morning trot to celebrate the holiday! We’ll have a 5K (3.1 mile) course that starts and finishes right at Shoe Science on Main Street. Runners, walkers, strollers, and families are all welcome. Feel free to dress festive—turkeys, pilgrims, and Thanksgiving-themed costumes encouraged!

Donations This Turkey Trot is about more than getting our feet moving—it’s about giving back to our community. This year, 100% of registration proceeds from the Shoe Science Turkey Trot will go toward purchasing Angel Tree gifts for children and families in our local area. Our goal is to turn every registration into an opportunity to help make Christmas a little brighter for someone in our community.

Important Notes This is a participate at your own risk event. Roads will be open to traffic. We will have limited volunteers at some key intersections, but not every crossing will be staffed. Please use caution and be aware of vehicles. With the event taking place on Thanksgiving morning, traffic is expected to be light, but safety is each participant’s responsibility. After the Trot Stick around at Shoe Science for light refreshments, community cheer, and a chance to kick off your Thanksgiving Day on the right foot!
