SHRM Washington DC Impact 5K

Join us for the SHRM Washington DC Charity 5K, a community-focused race uniting runners, walkers, and supporters for a morning of movement, connection, and impact.

While our primary mission is to raise vital scholarship funds for the SHRM Foundation, supporting initiatives that build better, more inclusive workplaces and empower workforce development, our early November timing brings a special seasonal theme of giving. In addition to supporting education, this year's event features a Gratitude and Veterans Appreciation Drive. Participants are invited to bring a new pack of warm thermal socks or stop by our race-day station to write a handwritten note of thanks for local veterans at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Registration Fees In-person 5K: $40 through September 25 $45 September 26-October 25 $55 October 26-November 7

** All in-person registrants will receive a custom bib, race shirt, and medal. Race shirts are only guaranteed if you are registered by October 25.

Virtual 5K: $50 through September 25 $55 September 26 through October 23

** Virtual Registration will close on October 23 at midnight. All Virtual registrations include: shipping for the packet: bib, shirt and medal

Packet pick up At the =PR= Run & Walk Store Arlington (4238 Wilson Blvd, Suite 1235, Arlington, VA 22203): Thursday, November 5 from 11:30 am -1:30 pm and 5:00 pm - 7:00pm Friday, November 6 from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

At Race Site: Rock Creek Park Saturday, November 7 from 7:00 am - 7:30 am

Awards will be mailed to the top 3 overall male and female finishers after the race.

Strict Course Rules (Strollers & Dogs): To ensure participant safety, strollers, pets/dogs, bicycles, and inline skates are strictly prohibited on the course during the event.

Race morning, we will celebrate a morning of Gratitude and Veterans Appreciation. Participants are encouraged to bring a warm pair of socks and/or write a card to local Veterans from the Washington DC VA Medical Center. We will also be accepting donations to support the SHRM Foundation.
