Stoga’s Case for Smiles 3rd Annual 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk

Race Purpose: To raise money for Stoga’s Case for Smiles to purchase fabric to sew fun pillowcases to help brighten the hospital rooms of sick children and to create Coping Boxes to help support the siblings of these sick children.

Location: Wilson Farm Park

Amenities: T shirt (Only guaranteed to those who register by 11/1), refreshments, awards to top finishers.

Our Mission Statement Stoga’s Case for Smiles is a Conestoga High School club supporting Ryan’s Case for Smiles which is a volunteer organization dedicated to helping sick children cope with the stress of their illnesses and injuries. Ryan’s Case for Smiles was started by Cindy Kerr in 2007 when she started sewing pillowcases to help brighten up the hospital room of her son Ryan, a Conestoga High School student, while he underwent cancer treatment. To continue his legacy, Stoga’s Case for Smiles hopes to help spread awareness about this organization and to raise money to be able to have a pillowcase sewing day and a coping box build day to support the siblings of children with cancer.
