Strive V30

For 30 years, Strive: How You Lead Matters has been developing character-driven leaders and building stronger team cultures in schools, community organizations, and athletic programs. To celebrate this milestone, we’re bringing our community together, wherever you are.

Welcome Back, Virtual Strivers! Our Virtual 5K is back, with a 30th-anniversary twist: 30 miles in 30 days. Longtime participants, we’ve missed you. Newcomers, welcome to the tradition!

Why We Strive We believe every young person, coach, and educator deserves the chance to grow as a leader. Schools, teams, nonprofits, and community-based organizations partner with Strive to bring leadership and culture-building programs to their staff and students. Funds raised through the Strive V30 help us keep those programs affordable, so budget is never the reason a community misses out. Your miles help open the door for someone else.

The Challenge Complete 30 miles between Giving Tuesday, December 1, and December 30.. Run, walk, bike, hike, swim, or mix it up. Do it all at once or a little at a time. You don’t have to be a runner; the goal is simply to get moving and celebrate with us.

The Strive V30 is open to everyone (pets included!): current and former participants, coaches, families, alumni, partners, supporters, and anyone who wants to be part of the Strive story.

How It Works Register for $30 (adults 23+) or $15 (ages 22 and under). Bringing your pet? Add them during checkout for $10. Then start a team and invite others to join you, or take it on solo. Want to do even more? Become a fundraiser and help us reach our goal.

V30 Awards Every winner will be featured on Strive’s social channels and receive Strive swag. Team awards go to the team captain. Log your miles by January 5; winners will be announced January 15.
