Strong As Oak Wreck Bag Turkey Trot 5K-ish Workout

This is not your ordinary Turkey Trot. This will be a 5K-ish partner run/workout on the trail. First, what is a Wreck Bag? That is a bag with two handles filled with crushed rubber. We will be using 25lb and 40lb weighted bags for the run/workout. Here is the format:

Run 1 - 1mile run, two person team carries one wreck bag during the run and trades off as needed. Once back from the loop go into workout1

100 WB Cleans. (WB Deadlift modification) You Go, I Go (YGIG)

100M Walking WB Lunges. YGIG format. (body weight lunges modification)

Run 2 - 1 mile run, same as run 1

100 Burpee over the WB. (Up - Downs modification) YGIG format.

100M WB Toss. YGIG format

Run 3 - 1 mile run same as runs 1 and 2.

100 WB Thruster (Air squat TD modification) YGIG format

100M WB Bear Crawl (Regular Bear Crawl Modification) YGIG Format.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PARTNER WE WILL FIND ONE FOR YOU ON DAY OF THE EVENT.

Participants also have the option of just running 3 laps to get a trail 5K complete.

100% of money collected will be donated to Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry in Aurora, IL.

We have a limited number of shirts, first come first serve, provided by our friends at Compete to Live.

We will meet at Shelter 1 (this is the shelter away from the lake and hill)

Park in designated spots only. Overflow parking is in lower lot by the lake.

Event is rain or shine. No refunds or deferrals as this is a fundraising event.
