Trail Beer Mile for Veterans

Drink four beers. Run a mile. Support local veterans.

Join UAW Local 2209 and the Getting Miles Athletic Club for a unique race that combines running, beer, and a great cause.

All proceeds benefit the UAW Local 2209 Veterans Committee, which supports local veterans in need.

The Rules

Participants must be 21 or older and sign another waiver on race day.

A designated driver is required.

Drink 4 beers (or approved beverage options). Run 4 laps of a trail loop totaling at least 1 mile. Drink one beverage before each lap. All beverages must be consumed in the designated transition zone. The first person to finish all four drinks and complete all four laps wins. Important Notes

Drinks are included with registration. No shotgunning, straws, or modified cans/bottles. Each beverage must be opened in the transition zone immediately before consumption. If you vomit during the race, you must complete one penalty lap and one penalty drink before your result is official. Race officials will verify that beverages are completely finished. Support a Great Cause

The UAW Local 2209 Veterans Committee will also be accepting additional donations to help local veterans in need. Donations can be made via cash or electronic payment options available at the event.

Run with friends, enjoy a few beers, and help make a difference for veterans in our community.

Better start training.
