New Athlete Assessment & Eligibility

To maintain a safe and productive training environment, all athletes must meet the minimum performance standards for their program.

Athletes who are new to the Upstate Running Club Youth Program must schedule an assessment before joining.

The assessment helps coaches evaluate the athlete's current fitness, running ability and readiness for structured training.

Coaches will determine whether the Youth or Developmental Program is the right fit.

Meeting the minimum standards does not automatically guarantee placement. Coaches will also consider each athlete's readiness to participate safely in group training.

Indoor Track Meet Schedule

Athletes will have the opportunity to compete in several indoor track meets this winter. All meets are held at Tryon International Equestrian Center, Mill Spring, NC.
