SUNDAY November 8th 2026 VFW Post 12144 was established on May 30, 2015. In keeping with the mission of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, we are here to foster camaraderie among United States Veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our Veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all Veterans. The proceeds of this 5K Run/Walk will be utilized to help other Veterans in our community and their families who may have encountered hardship.

Located at VFW Post 12144, 1218 Old Nichols Road, Islandia starting at 7:30am
5K Race starts at 9:00am
Kids Fun Run starts at 8:30am (14 and Under) Amenities:
Age Group Awards & BBQ at the VFW afterwards! T-shirts will be guaranteed to those who register by October 28th @ midnight! 5K Fees: $35 pre-registration (*plus card fees by 11/7 at 6pm) $40 day-of
Kids Fun Run: $15 pre-registration (*plus card fees by 11/7 at 6pm) (14 and under) $20 day-of
Course: Starts & ends near the Veterans Memorial in front of VFW Post 12144 in Islandia
