2026 Delaware Dash for Rare 5K & 1 Mile Walk

Join the National MPS Society at the 2nd Annual Delaware Dash for Rare 5K!

This event is to raise money and awareness to help change the lives of those living with a rare disease. 10% of Americans suffer from a rare disease and less than 5% have an FDA-approved treatment. 3 out of 10 children with a rare condition do not live to see their 5th birthday, and we work to change this. Proceeds benefit the National MPS Society.

7:30 AM: Onsite registration, packet pick-up, and pre-race entertainment 9:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk 10:00 AM: Awards/Raffle 10:30 AM: Brunch & Live Music

Lunch is included in registration costs. Come out and enjoy a fun day to help raise awareness and funds for our MPS and ML families!

NovaCare Rehabilitation will be onsite for the duration of the race providing recovery services, stretching and any last minute race prep. Whether you’re an avid runner or just looking to get out and have some fun, NovaCare’s physical therapists can help you work through any aches or pains along the way.

Not able to join in person? Participate virtually!

It is just like any other 5K, except there is no official race location. You get to choose where, with whom, and even how you want to complete the 5K. by participating virtually, you can run the 5K at any time leading up to November 7th. It can even be done in increments, keep track of your distance until you hit the 5K!
